My professional fees start from £245 for a half day up to four hours and £375 for a full day. This is the same whether I am guiding one person, a couple, a family or a group of 25.
What is included
What you will get is a bespoke tour tailored to what YOU want to see, with me to explain what we’re seeing and tell you all the background and stories about it.
I will also show you all the small stuff and the hidden corners that most tourists don’t see. I’ll plan the tour, but be fully flexible on the day.
And I’ll guide you through the London transport system, streets and even suggest places for coffee and lunch.
What’s not included.
Your entry tickets to attractions, but I’ll help you to obtain them, and even get you a slight discount at one or two places. I get into nearly all the attractions for free.
Your travel costs around London. But if we’re using public transport, this shouldn’t cost more than £10 per person per day. If you are a group of four people or less, using one of London’s famous Black taxis is frequently a cost efficient option, as they seat 5 passengers. I will pay my own travel around London and Windsor with you, but I will need to charge if we are travelling outside of London. If you need me to start or finish at Heathrow, there is a £15 surcharge.
Lunch and refreshments: We will of course stop for coffee, cold drinks, a rest and lunch whenever you wish. I will extend the length of a tour if you want – extra hours start from £45 per hour.

Discussion & Planning of tours
I’ll get back to you as soon as possible, certainly within 24 hours to confirm that I’m still available, and how much I would charge. I will ask you to confirm that you’d like to book me for the date(s). I will then offer ideas for our time together, and we can plan it. This generally only takes two or three e-mails to finalise.
I shall let you know at what time we are going to meet and exactly where, and if it’s not at your hotel or accommodation, I’ll give you detailed instructions about the location and how to get there. We meet up and then set off on our adventure….
How & when clients pay
I am happy to accept payment by all major bank and credit cards up to 14 days before the tour. Many of my international clients find it easier to pay cash on the day of the tour but if you prefer, you can pay me with a bank transfer or via PayPal.
